The World Community Governance Institute (WCGI) was established in Moscow in February 2006 as a non-commercial research organization. Foundation for Academic Studies and Global Development (FASGD), being the founder of the WCGI, had been established in Moscow in May 2005. Behind the FASGD there are 15 years of research activities carried out by teams of researchers from different branches of Russian economy and from a few US universities. Hundreds of articles, scientific reports, monographs were published in which attention of readers was focused on keen problems of the world development - strategic balance, oil supply and use of force, domestic strategy of Russia, information resources management, etc. In the middle of the first decade of the XXI century development of globalization, emergence of the so called new wealth, transformation of leading TNC into global companies demonstrated a challenge to the old system of the world community governance which was established in the middle of 40ies. The World Community Governance Institute is a research non-profit organization, so the output of its practical activities may only be recommendations which can be used or not used by governments, top-managers of corporations and by administration of international organizations.
